Iran detains 100 US, Israeli spies in recent weeks

Iran's intelligence minister says Tehran has identified 100 people he describes as US and Israeli agents.

He says some were arrested trying to leave Iran to attend spy schools abroad. Several Iranian activists and journalists have been detained in recent weeks or barred from leaving the country.

The intelligence minister says authorities can identify all who planned to leave the country for espionage training under the pretext of attending conventional schools.
