Chinese president Hu: Let´s work together

Hu Jintao said the world needs "a fair, just, inclusive and well-managed international financial order."
He also called for joint efforts to oppose trade protectionism in all manifestations.
Hu Jintao brought up the difficulties faced by developing countries.
He called for minimizing the damage of the financial crisis on them, and urged the world community, developed nations in particular, to assume due responsibilities and obligations.
The impact of the crisis on China was another concern.
Hu Jintao said the global financial turmoil has brought unprecedented difficulties and challenges.
He said the country is carrying out a number of measures to maintain steady growth. These include timely adjustment to macroeconomic policies, swift adoption of proactive fiscal policy and moderately easy monetary policy, as well as a stimulus package.
Hu Jintao said China will continue to work with the rest of the international community to enhance macroeconomic policy coordination and advance the reform of the international financial system.
He said China will also continue to maintain the stability of the multilateral trading system and contribute its share to world economic recovery.
