Visiting Tibetan deputies of China's National People's Congress have held a press briefing at the Chinese embassy in Washington D.C. They shared ideas with Chinese and foreign journalists on issues concerning Tibet.

Asked about the Dalai Lama, the head of the five-member delegation, Shingtsa Tenzinchodrak, said the Dalai Lama should be judged on what he has done in the past few decades and not only on what he has said.
