The Guardian said that Wen Jiabao's speech expressed China and the world's confidence in fighting the financial crisis. The UK released a document on British-Sino relations before Wen Jiabao's arrival at the country. The document said that in the coming decade, China will offer more business opportunities than any other nation, setting the tone of bilateral economic cooperation.
Mainstream European media believe that China's participation and cooperation is vital to re-ignite global economic growth. German paper, "Der Tagesspiegel" said that, faced with the global financial crisis, China's close cooperation with German is very important. Another German newspaper, "Handelsblatt", said that the country's business sector have taken on China as important partner.
Other media commentary shows that Europe has confidence on its cooperation with China to rebuild global financial markets.
