Wen’s visit in European spotlight

Premier Wen Jiabao's European tour has drawn the attention of the European press. Various media have praised Premier Wen's confident speech at the World Economic Forum, and they have given recognition to China's cooperation with Europe.

British and German media have covered the Premier Wen Jiabao's speech and commented on it positively.

The Financial Times put Premier Wen Jiabao's photo at the WEF on the front page, praising Premier Wen as the star guest of the forum. The paper stressed Wen Jiabao's confidence in the Chinese economy, and said Wen's confident speech was in contrast to the pessimistic atmosphere of the forum.
