Spring Festival travel peak continues

The Ministry of Railways says it expects a record 188 million train journeys to be made during this years Spring Festival travel season.

That would be a 8 percent growth over last year. Buying a train ticket is still as hard as it ever was.
Passenger, said, "It's really difficult to buy the tickets, I queued for a long time."
Passenger, said, "It's hard there are too many people on the train, it's crowded too, making the journey unpleasant."
President Hu Jintao has told the Ministry of Railways to "brainstorm for measures" to help travelers.
The ministry says it would take measures to ease the situation. But it says capacity is far below the demand. Construction of new lines has been planned and the situation might improve in 2012.
