Tension between the south Asian neighbors has risen following the Mumbai attacks that killed about 170 people.

Addressing an election rally in Indian administered Kashmir on Sunday, Singh said that Pakistan must stop allowing its territory to be used for acts of terrorism against India.

The remark came after Pakistan carried out raids on a charity linked to Lashkar, the organization suspected in the Mumbai attacks.

Pakistan has also called on India to provide further evidence for its accusations.
