Firefighters moved into the Taj Mahal Hotel on Saturday, after the commandos finally came out.

Rescuers are still cleaning up the wreckage near the hotel.

The Taj Mahal was the last battleground, after three days of intense fighting in various parts of the city.

Nine of the gunmen were killed, a tenth was caught alive.

The violence began on Wednesday, when assailants attacked 10 sites across Mumbai.

Officials say at least 195 people had been killed, and 295 others wounded. Among the dead and injured are many foreigners.
