Wen Jiabao's visit to southwestern Guizhou province was his third to disaster-affected areas in the past nine days.

On arrival in the provincial capital Guiyang, the premier headed straight for a broken power line that electricians were racing against the clock to repair.

Wen Jiabao made it past the narrow, snow-covered mountain road to get as close to the rescuers as possible.

Wen Jiabao said, "I thank you very much for sticking to your work to repair the power grid during the Spring Festival. You can not go home at the festive time. Please pass on my greetings over to your families! "

Wen Jiabao inspected the power transmission facilities and told the workers and leaders there that restoring power is the key in Guizhou's disaster fighting.
