China, Japan mark 35th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic ties

Premier Wen Jiabao says strategic decisions made by former Chinese and Japanese leaders realized the normalization of their relations, which is positive for the development of the region.
He attributed the improvement in bilateral ties to contributions made by Japanese friends. The Premier said the two sides should cherish opportunities to deepen understanding, and promised China will abide by the principles of political documents, and the policy of good neighborly cooperation.
