The last rehearsal of the active phase of the anti-terror drill, Peace Mission 2007, has been successfully conducted. The two-hour rehearsal was carried out Monday at a military base near the Russian Ural Mountains city Chelyabinsk.
More than 4,000 servicemen from five member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization - China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikstan, participated in the general rehearsal.
Russian and Chinese commanders report that military observers unanimously say the exercise and the training session passed satisfactorily.
They say all tactical tasks have been fulfilled at a rather high level. The joint anti-terror drill will last till Friday in the Chebarkul range near Chelyabinsk.
