23 members of a Chinese medical aid team sent to Liberia eight months ago are now back in Beijing. They arrived on Saturday night after successfully completing their assignment.

The Chinese medical aid team from Beijing Army hospital began their peacekeeping task in Liberia back in April. During their stay in Liberia, they provided medical services to more than 4,000 peacekeeping soldiers. They also offered free medicine and services to the Liberian people.

The Chinese medical aid was warmly welcomed by the people of Libya, as well as the peacekeeping soldiers.
