Staying with the Six-Party talks, and the US and the DPRK have held their second day of one-on-one discussions. There were also other bilateral talks on Wednesday, covering non-nuclear issues.

The head of the US delegation, Christopher Hill, met his DPRK counterpart Kim Kye Gwan in the morning. Whether there was any progress has yet to be made public.

Meanwhile, US and DPRK financial experts met separately, outside the six-party mechanism, to discuss the issue of financial sanctions. Speaking ahead of those talks, the US delegation didn't think the issue would be solved quickly.

Daniel Glaser, Deputy Ass't Secretary US Treasury Department, said, "We though a good opportunity But that if this is going to be a very productive dialogue then this is going to have to be a long term process. "

There were also bilateral talks between US and Japan, and US and South Korea. Their purpose, according to Christopher Hill, was to solve some issues other than denuclearizing the DPRK.

South Korea's envoy, Chun Yung Woo did not sound overly positive before Wednesday's round of talks.

Chun Yung Woo, South Korean Delegate, said, "Disagreements remain. Although the gap hasn't narrowed much, each party has shown their cards, and we are discussing how each party would prioritize."

Host country China did not hold any bilateral exchanges on Wednesday.
