Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora says he'll fight to keep his depleted government afloat. He thinks that giving in to demands from Hezbollah and its allies would amount to a tyranny of the minority.

A string of ministerial resignations since Saturday has removed a quarter of Siniora's 24-member cabinet. But he says he'll continue to pursue dialogue despite talks collapsing within the party and Hezbollah threats to stage protests to bring down the government.

Siniora said most of his colleagues want a larger cabinet. But they could not agree to Hezbollah demands for more than a third of the seats.
