Iran to make new nuclear proposals

Iranian President says his country will offer a new proposal package to the world, aimed at breaking the impasse with the West over Tehran's nuclear program.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed a crowd in the southeastern city of Kerman.

He said Iran welcomes dialogue with world powers based on justice and respect. And he suggested that the West should not try to force it to halt its uranium enrichment programme.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iranian President, said, "We are preparing a new package. It is a package that constitutes peace and justice throughout the globe and also respects other nations' rights and participation of all countries and nations in solving international problems."
