NPC ends with government targets set

China's National People's Congress has just wrapped up its annual session. It set out plans and tasks for the world's third largest economy. On the agenda were the government's goal of 8 percent GDP growth this year, and deeper democratic reforms.

In just over a week, the NPC has finished its session for this year.

But many deputies are still making their opinions heard. After all, the annual political meeting provides a national stage for the nation's law makers.
