Migrant workers return home for family reunion

More than 20 million rural migrant workers are employed by the manufacturing factories in Guangdong province, producing one third of China's export products each year. Their income is a vital source of livelihood for their families back home in the vast but poorer inland areas. But the global financial crisis may inevitably affect their fate.

Each year's Spring Festival sees an exodus of migrant  workers moving from the richer southern coastal areas to  their hometowns in poorer central and western regions.

But whatever is in store for them, they can put aside their worries for at least the next couple of weeks and enjoy the precious moments of a family reunion.
