In Guangzhou, another major transportation hub in south China, joint control with other stations in Guangdong Province has kept the huge number of waiting passengers safe and orderly. All tickets for trains leaving the province before Spring Festival have been sold out.

Air and road transport sectors are also facing the same challenges. More flights and long distance buses have been added to schedules in order to meet surging demand.
