Anger over the fatal shooting has spread to the German capital Berlin where dozens of demonstrators have occupied the Greek consulate.

Officials say 15 Greek youths are among the 30 demonstrators protesting at their nation's consulate in Berlin.

A consulate spokesman says the youths entered the building as visitors, but have since "occupied" the premises. He said consulate officials are meeting with the youths.

Berlin police say they have mobilized about 130 officers around the building to guarantee access and security.

Michael Merkle, German Police Spokesman, said, "We cannot speak of violence. They were allowed inside. They entered legally, so there was no violence and from our point of view, nothing incriminating has happened yet."

Police were informed of protest activity inside the consulate in the morning but would not elaborate on details of their actions there.

Michael Merkle, German Police Spokesman, said, "We were alarmed at 9:40 am this morning. We were told there are around 30 people inside the building. This is an unconfirmed number. People inside are in contact with the Greek Ambassador. Therefore our operation in front of the building is limited to securing the area."

Meanwhile, police appeared to have arrested one protester in the street outside the building. It was not immediately clear whether protesters outside were connected to the ones inside.

Rioting in Greece broke out on Saturday after the fatal shooting of 15-year old boy in Athens. The shooting has triggered three days of riots in cities across Greece.
