The devastating May 12 earthquake seriously damaged parts of the Wolong Giant Panda Protection and Research Center. The aftermath of the disaster continues to pose geological threats to the animals' home. To protect the pandas, Wolong staff have relocated some of them to natural reserves and zoos elsewhere.

The Yunnan Wild Animal Park is the new home for these three pandas. They'll stay here for two years, receiving 24-hour care and supervision by animal doctors.

Wang XIangshuai, Panda keeper, said, "Their food includes apples, bread, carrots, milk and bamboo leaves... to ensure balanced nutrition."

In the Chinese capital, the eight Olympic pandas currently on display have already gotten used to becoming star attractions at the Beijing Zoo.
