Migrant workers set out on journey home

After long, frustrating delays, hundreds of thousands of migrant workers are setting out on their train journeys home from Guangzhou in southern China. The travelers are delighted and excited that they can now finally make the trip.

Liu Guoxing from Hunan province works for a decoration company in Guangzhou. This is his third time at the railway station.

Liu Guoxing,migrant worker from Hunan, said, "I've been stuck here for five or six days. My ticket is dated January 27th. I'm not sure whether I can catch a train today."

Whatever their troubles were, compared with those still waiting outside, these travelers are much luckier. They can finally start their journey home.

Some just can't wait to call their families to tell them the good news.
