On Wednesday morning, Premier Wen inspected the transport system and the market supply for the upcoming Spring Festival.

Later, accompanied by Guangdong's top officials, Premier Wen Jiabao arrived at the Guangzhou Train Terminal and spoke with passengers stranded there.

Wen Jiabao said, "I understand how all of you are feeling. Everything possible is being done so you can all get back home. Everyday, more train lines are being opened and the number of trains operating is increasing. We will make sure everyone is reunited with families as soon as possible."

Premier Wen boarded a train from Nanchang, which was sent to support Guangzhou's railway traffic. Wen asked passengers about their situation and wished them well as the train left the station.
