The almost five week-old cub is reported to be in excellent condition.

Flocke's keepers and zoo vets say the cub is being carefully watched as she's still vulnerable to illness due to her age.

Flocke was taken into care two weeks ago for hand-rearing after keepers became concerned about her mother's ability to raise cubs.

She has since captured the public's affection with her appearances on camera. The condition of Germany's new favorite polar bear is published each day on her own web page.
