China is getting a blast of winter. Snow has arrived again in the North and Northwest and is continuing to fall in the South. Freezing temperatures are creating havoc on icy roads, and bringing inconvenience to residents.

China is getting a blast of winter. Snow has arrived again in the North and Northwest and is continuing to fall in the South.

Beijing is under a blanket of snow today. It's the same for inner Mongolia and Shaanxi province.

But with it brings icy conditions on the roads, forcing them to close.

In Jiangxi province, thousands of vehicles were trapped on a bridge over the Yangtze River. Local observatories have issued fresh alerts, warning of further snow storms and icy roads.
