Pakistan: Bomb explosion kills 3 Islamic militants

In Pakistan, three Islamic militants have died after a powerful bomb they were carrying on a bicycle, accidentally exploded near a cattle market.

Policy say the bomb detonated prematurely after the men rode over a speed hump, killing himself and two of his associates. They suspect the men wanted to target the cattle market.

Police attending a memorial service for a fellow inspector may have also been a target. The slain men were students from a local seminary that had links with Sipah-e-Sahaba a Sunni militant group outlawed by the government.
