US remains diplomacy strategy to resolve Iran´s nuclear issue

The White House has reiterated that it is not planning to invade Iran, stressing that it will use diplomacy in trying to resolve Iran's nuclear issue.

White House spokesman Tony Snow made the remarks on Tuesday. This, in response to some media speculation that the US might consider going to war with Iran to achieve its objectives. But the White House spokesman said the U.S. would continue to use diplomacy in search of a peaceful solution to the nuclear issue with Iran.

The United States has accused Iran of supporting insurgents in Iraq. And also of secretly developing nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian nuclear program.
