EU waters down new draft resolution on Iran

Britain, France and Germany agreed on Wednesday to water down their draft resolution that would impose sanctions on Iran for refusing to halt uranium enrichment.

They're hoping for a Security Council vote on Friday. The latest text urges nations to notify the sanction committee of the Security Council of the travel of Iranian officials on a list. It calls on states to exercise vigilance.
