The World Christian Council has sent a delegation to China to witness the development of Christianity in the country, and more importantly, to see how different religions can co-exist here in harmony.

Headed by the General Secretary of the Council Samuel Kobia, the delegation has met with leaders of China's five major religions, including Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Islam. The leaders have shared their experiences with the WCC guests on how different religions can get along in China and contribute to the establishment of a harmonious society. The delegation is scheduled to meet China's top advisor, Jia Qinglin on Tuesday.
