Senior Chinese leaders join CPPCC group discussions

Wu Bangguo took part in a group discussion attended by the Zhi Gong Party and the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. China's top legislator said the CPC places great importance on multi-party cooperation and political consultation. He hoped the two parties would further strengthen cooperation with the CPC, and help build an all-around well-off society. Wu Bangguo called on the parties to contribute to the goal of a socialist harmonious society. And he said they should help fully implement the law on the protection of the rights and interests of returned overseas Chinese.
