At the same time, he said, China would like to continuously enrich the content of its comprehensive strategic partnership with the United Kingdom.

Blair noted that China gave priority to investments in infrastructure, energy and environmental protection in its stimulus package, which was initiated to deal with the financial crisis.

"The long-term and large-scale investment has sent a clear and positive message to investors from all countries," Blair said, "Every country has attached importance to the opportunities provided by China's development and have benefited from these opportunities."

Wang also attended a symposium with experts from London's financial circles and with them exchanged views on the international economic situation and the efforts to deal with it.
