The rebuilding of Juyuan High School in Dujiangyan city is crucial, as the old school was severely damaged in the quake. The new structure is to be used by 24-hundred students, and is due to be finished before August the 1st. With nine main buildings, the new campus is one of the largest reconstructed schools in the province.

Zhou Bing, resident of Yingxiang Village, Juyuan County, says, "the new school buildings are very good and attractive. They've been built in such a short time. The steel in the building is quite strong. It seems like they will be able to resist an even stronger earthquake. We feel safe having children study at this school."
