Almost a year has passed since last year's earthquake in Sichuan Province. Dujiangyan city is among the worst-hit areas.

Ms. Xu, a Dujiangyan resident, said, "My husband and I are both pork dealers. We reopened 3 months after the quake. There are fewer customers now. But I think more people will come back, since everyone needs to cook and eat."

Dujiangyan is still recovering from the devastating earthquake a year ago.

Repairing and Rebuilding. The famous tourism city still needs time to clear away the signs of disaster.

High streets are waking up. What interests me are the shops at the ground floor of these evacuated buildings, which are obviously unsafe.

Is it that the businesses can't wait to reopen, or do shop owners really need this to earn a living?

This woman showed us her small shoe shop, which now has incredibly low prices.
