DPRK, Cuba to strengthen ties

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has signed a series of accords with Cuba as the DPRK's foreign minister continues his official visit.

Pak Ui-chun ahd his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, sat down for meetings on Monday with their respective delegations. Details on the discussions were not released to the media, but both ministers expressed satisfaction with the talks.

Afterwards, the ministers signed a series of accords aimed at promoting bilateral relations. Earlier, Pak laid a wreath at the monument to Cuba's national hero, Jose Marti, in Havana's Revolution Square. Pak has been in Cuba for over a week for the ministerial summit of the Coordination Bureau of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries.
