CHINESE NATURAL RESOURCES

Mineral resources

- 58% of world average per capita

Land resources

- limited on average

- little fertile land

- 120 million hectares can be cultivated

Forest resources

- average area of forests - 1/6 of world average

- average forest tree reserves - 1/8 of world average

- forest coverage - 1/2 of world coverage area

Fresh water resources

- unbalanced distribution
