South Korea has also expressed concern about the unrest and for the safety of its citizens in Thailand.

Moon Tae-Young, S. Korea Foreign Ministry Spokesman said "South Korean Foreign Ministry is operating an emergency network of communication with South Korean travel agencies at the location and South Korean airline employees through the South Korean embassy in Thailand, and has requested them to pay attention, especially on the security of South Koreans at the location."
