Over in Iran the leading reformist candidate in upcoming presidential elections says he will negotiate with the US, if elected.

Mir Hossein Mousavi says he is willing to meet with US officials as long as Iran would NOT be required to give up its nuclear program.

The elections in June will be the 10th presidential selection for the country. Political activists in both reformist and conservative camps are gearing up to compete for the highest executive office in Iran.

Mir Hossein Mousavi, Iranian Leading Reformist Candidate, said, "The language Mr Obama has used is different from that of Mr. Bush. We can see this and will review our relationship in light of their behavior. If this is going to happen, why should we not negotiate? We will definitely negotiate."
