On the sidelines of the London summit US President Barack Obama has met with South Korean counterpart, Lee Myung-bak.

They discussed peace and stability on the Korean peninsula. Obama said South Korea is one of America's closest allies and greatest friends. He also said the two leaders plan to talk about economic matters and climate change along with security matters.
