A delegation of five Tibetan NPC deputies met the media in Beijing after finishing their visit to the United States and Canada. They said the trip is effective to present a real Tibet to the rest of the world.

A delegation of five Tibetan NPC deputies met the media in Beijing after finishing their visit to the United States and Canada.

The delegation told reporters they met with the representatives from the political and academic circles, as well as overseas Chinese during their visit.

They said the visit was productive.

Shingtsa Tenzinchodrak, NPC deputy said "All delegates are local Tibetans who were born and grew up in Tibet. We are the witnesses of the development in our homeland over the last few decades. What we told them is just what we see and think so the delegation was very welcome everywhere."

The delegation is the first of its kind sent by the National People's Congress.
