Today marks the 400-day countdown to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Tickets have officially gone on sale and its logo has been jazzed up with a slogan and a theme song.

Tickets are now available to the public in advance or at the door. The first phase of ticket sales starts today(Friday) and goes until June, targeting mainly group sales. The media center for the expo also opened yesterday. It will offer service to journalists, such as issuing press passes, and will hold press conferences.

Meanwhile, the big blue Expo mascot "Haibao" has been set up in Pujiang township in Shanghai. During the expo, traffic management will alter routes for various areas.
