17 injured in workshop blast in SW China

At least 17 people have been injured in a workshop blast in Shuifu County, in southwest China's Yunnan Province. The injured included 7 workers at the workshop and ten people living nearby.

At least 17 people have been injured in a workshop blast  in Shuifu County, in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The blast occurred at a leading Chinese chemical fertilizer producer,Yunnan Yuntianhua Company, around noon on Monday. High pressure gas leaked from a pipe, breaking windows. Some workers were injured by the glass. The accident didn't cause any leaks. Work safety authorities are investigating the cause of the blast.
