U.S. President Barack Obama says investors around the world, including those in China should have confidence in the soundness of their investments in the US.

He was addressing concerns recently expressed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Responding to a question after the annual session of the NPC on Friday, Premier Wen admitted that he was "a little bit worried" about the security of China's investments in the US. According to the U.S. Treasury, China was holding nearly 682 billion U.S. dollars worth of U.S. government bonds as of November.
