Central government supports Hong Kong, Macao to fight financial crisis: FM

BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Foreign Ministry is committed to supporting Hong Kong and Macao in their multilateral exchanges in the combat against the financial crisis, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said Saturday.

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government officials will join the Chinese delegation for the London financial summit in April after their presence at the Washington financial summit last year, he said at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual parliamentary session.
