Multi-national companies are keeping a close eye on China's NPC and CPPCC sessions. Foreign investors are paying close attention too, with the government posed to tackle the downturn by implementing policies to stimulate China's economy.

Richard Hausmann said, 
Richard Hausmann said, "If you are not sure about your own 
future, you don't invest money which you have into consumption. 
You have to save something for situations when you need it. 
Therefore a social security system could be an interesting 
investment at the moment. It would make the country strong 
in the long run."

The CEO of Siemens China, Richard Hausmann, has been reading newspaper reports about the meeting. He shared his thoughts.
