China's new food safety law will involve several government departments working together to ensure quality standards are met. At a news conference on Monday, some of the details of this coordination were revealed.

Chen Xiaohong says experts in various disciplines will be  invited to help draw up the new standard.

Representatives of five government departments were on hand for the news conference to help increase public confidence in the food safety law's implementation.
