The proposals also concentrate on issues like employment, and the balanced development of rural and urban areas."

Zhao Qizheng also revealed the agenda of the session. The members will hear and discuss a work report by Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the CPPCC, and Zhao Qizheng called on members to continue to play an important role in political life and work harder for the country's prosperity.
