Premier Wen: protectionism lingers global financial crisis

Wen briefed Cameron on China's policy and measures to deal with the financial crisis. He said it's imperative that the two sides adhere to fair and open trade to resolve issues arising from the international financial system.
The visiting Chinese Premier also met with Stephen Perry, chairman of the 48 Group Club, and the representatives of "Young Icebreakers", an organization that is part of the Club, on Saturday.
The 48 Group Club is an independent business network committed to promoting relations with China. The origins of the Club stem from the early 1950s, when the founding of "Icebreakers" were the first Westerners to establish mutually beneficial trade relations with China.
