When Xu Jinjing, a student from Sichuan studying in the Department of Arts at the University of Salamanca, learned that Premier Wen would visit Spain, he decided to put great efforts into this oil painting which took him two days. The painting is based on a news photo taken by a Xinhua News Agency reporter when Premier Wen directed the disaster relief campaign at Beichuan Middle School. In the news photo, two little girls who had just experienced the huge earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province, are nestling up closely to Premier Wen.
