Feature: Ordinary Gazans try hard to heal wounds of war

Children in Gaza are also trying to heal their wounds from the war with the help of their teachers.

On Saturday, the children went back to school and their teachers tried their best to help them get over the bitter memories caused by the war.

Earlier on Tuesday, in a school in north Gaza, hundreds of boys and girls could be seen having fun on the playground.

However, two boys of this school, who were killed in the Israeli army operation, will never play with their classmates again.

"Today, we want to let the children play, which is part of our plan to help them," Laila Elskani, the psychology teacher at the school, told Xinhua.

For three previous days, the school had arranged other activities for the children, she said.

On Saturday, the children were encouraged to relate their own experiences of the war.
