World Economic Forum opens in Davos with focus on financial crisis

Klaus Schwab said, " Now, whether it is correct to integrate the banking community, those who among others originated the crisis, I think it is very important. Because those people are not only part of the problem, they are part of the solution. We need a well functioning financial community, we should not forget, otherwise we don't have a well functioning economy."

While many companies have cut back on plans for grand parties and dinners, hotels in Davos are packed and the skiing is good.

But even though it looks like fun in the snow, there's a chill running through Davos this year as leaders confront very serious problems with the global economy.
