Israel continues to bomb targets throughout Gaza

Since Day 1 of the offensive on December 27, both sides have demanded each other to stop the attack first, before it would seriously consider a cease-fire.

Israeli police accused Hamas of firing more than 20 rockets toward Israel on Thursday, injuring 10 people.

On the same day, Hamas released a video claiming to show two Israeli tanks in northwest of Gaza City being fired on with missiles from a house. But the authenticity of the video cannot be verified.

Also on Thursday, some people gathered at a local Red Cross office building in the West Bank to send a peace message.

They were praying for an end to a war in which both UN and Palestinian officials say nearly half of the Palestinian casualties were civilians.
